The story
Hanuman, the devoted servant of Rama, is worshipped in homes and roadside shrines across India, often on Tuesdays and Saturdays.


Meaning
Sindoor is a traditional offering to Hanuman, and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa is among the most loved devotions.

On Tuesday or Saturday, light the diya, offer sindoor and flowers, and recite the Hanuman Chalisa.
